I don't think it means the update for the existing devices. Anyway, it's already available for xdaII. Still, exciting news

Obviously it isn't the specific update - but if there actually will be an update, it can't be far behind, right?

We will seen soon if it is offered for the X50v

T'would be nice. Anything to get the little beastie to run smoother and faster with more goodies works for me.

I'm actually looking forward to all the compatibility issues and software crashing bugs that wm2005 is going to introduce. I hate when I get everything working all perfectly, and then there's nothing left to do..

I assume the release of the Axim X55v means that they don't plan to offer an upgrade.
Later,
James

Possibly . . . When Dell and HP finally announced that there would be no update (if you choose to call it an announcement), it was some time after the X30's started shipping with SE.

My point is, we may hear that an upgrade will be offered, then get our hopes up, some time will pass, we'll think that they're "getting the ROM image ready", then they'll announce that there will be no update.

Of course, I do hope in the bottom of my heart that this is not the case, it was indeed the case for the X5/X3 users when SE rolled out
Best Regards,

Wooch

i hope that tne version will include some of the third party company package we need to purchass like multilang. VGA ( i don't understand why Dell with the X50v didn't include the VGA utilities like S-VGA and OZ-VGA in the ROM ???? ) my opinion (based on my experiance)lets wait to the SE version or the first update.
still looking for the ultimate pda
