Which, of course, it will not be except for owners that bought their device in the previous few weeks (probably within a month of the release).

Free stinks! I won't upgrade if its free. They can't make me. I'll block the download. I'll complain to Dell in India. I'll start an email petition. I'll whine on all the PDA sites. I'll, I'll, .....
hmmmmm free? Naaaah, can't be.

With my X50v tweaked to work exactly the way I wanted it to, it will be difficult. But hey, half the fun is getting it to work the way we want it. I am in for the challenge. Free would be best, a small fee is acceptable, otherwise.....
Free or a fair price for the upgrade and I will consider it. Mainly has to be stable and compatible with what I need. If it does some networking stuff better I would be even more inclined.
Does anyone know if WM2005 will support the WM2003/SE programs. I suspect it will be a big call for program writers to update software to new version numbers once WM2005 becomes mainstream. So there might be cost of upgrading software to consider too.
Cheers

I bet everyone who posted on this thread will upgrade. Moreover - everyone with more then 200 posts on this site will upgrade. It's because we are geeks, not because this ysystem will truly be better, more stable, etc
