But really, the X3/X30 (and X5 for that matter) series wouldn't see much of an improvement, and possibly even see a decrease in performance over WM2003. Even the current X50 isn't going to take full advantage of the biggest pro for WM5, which is RAM utilization. The next-gen devices are going to be the ones to really watch out for, assuming they offer a little more RAM on them.
Since most manufacturers will likely still support WM2003 for awhile after WM5 comes out, I don't see the need for Dell/HP/etc to spend the time/money on developing a custom WM5 build for models that won't be able to effectively use the "selling" features of WM5.
