Microsoft Active Sync 4

Can anybody tell me if Microsoft Active Sync 4 is compatible with Windows Mobile 3 SE

No, not compatble with 2003SE for me; I had to uninstall 4.0 and reinstall the older version. On the other hand, I found 4.0 necessary for syncing with WM5.

Has it actually been released yet? I thought 3.8 was the version they were still pushing.

Right. But it doesn't appear to be the release of choice from Microsoft's perspective.

Absolutely correct - but for those of us developing with Visual Studio 2005 Beta 2 and .Net Compact Framework 2.0, we have no choice but to use ActiveSync 4.0

yes... but I do not know how I obtained. It was installed with another programme ..... very odd!!!! I have to uninstalled because it caused problems
