DO NOT put PocketWinC 2.00 on your Axim X50v with WM5! Well now having said that my experience was that it installed ok but does not detect the WiFi card in the X50v. Of course it really didn't do such a good job of that with the X50v and WM 2003 either. But now that I have confirmed that it won't work on the X50v with WM5 I CAN'T UNINSTALL IT! LOL! CR@P! Guess I will do another hard reset and complete install again. sigh!

GSPlayer does not work. The fonts are all garbled and it might just be me, but my sound does not work anymore after I installed it (and uninstalled it)

GSPocketMagic works but the icons are look jagged.
OzVGA slightly works, some things don't appear correctly.

iGuidance posted WM5 support on their Web site. Patch available to bring up to 2.1.3 (WM5 support). Works fine!

ConverterCE (free edition) works fine with no glitches I've seen yet.

Calc98 is working but the keyboard button in the middle of the bottom bar visually conflicts with the "view" menu button Scrambled graphics). View and keyboard still work though.

NoteM works well, no problems seen yet.

Airscanner Firewall loads and runs, but gives me an error saying "failed to enable the firewall filter", but then tells me "failed to disable the firewall filter" when disabling it. I haven't tested to see if it is actually working but with bogus error messages.

HanDbase 3.0j is working for me (haven't tried brute force vga with it), as is their special conduit, which surprised me from what I've been reading about AS4.0.

Anybody tried pocket Messenger yet? I'm surfing with my x51v at the moment and couldn't find a WM5 version for dload on microsoft.com. They were very specific about which dload was for 2002, 2003, etc, so I'm assuming that the WM5 version isn't out yet?

Oh, forgot to mention- PwrStat works great! I think Powerstat was mentioned as working on the list, but the updated version was renamed PwrStat and was given blue indicator lines with 10% markers. Much better (imho).

I just want to mention that MS implemented in WM5 a Trust Application Certificate, etc... The default option seems to cause lot of problems for some software, which are considered as "non WM5 compatible". But if you install the latest Tweaks2k2 (3.12) which turns off this option. Therefore hopefully more app can be used w/WM5?

Everything that I've tested has worked for me. I have an x51v. I will try to avoid native WM5 apps that have said specifically they were designed for WM5.

What tweak in 2K2 turns this option off?
