vxUtil 1.6.2 (on your list, it's "vxTool") IS compatible with WM5 - runs OK on my x51v A06

Also, I've posted the WM5 compatibility of all the current Pocket PC sound recorder (or recording-capable) apps here; see the "...WM5 Dell Axim x51v (A06)?" in the comparison chart.

a freeware keyboard that worked fine on 2003se, actually works better in wm5 si Ripboard.
has Fitaly key layout, works in VGA, and is free and works on wm5.0 (but is acutally the wm2003se arm build)
I missed the fitaly keyboard on my wm5.0, then I remembered about ripboard, installed it addded the fitaly ini file to root folder, and boom, free vga aware fitaly keyboard = fast pen entry.

Aces High Texas Hold'em - No Limit is not functioning properly on my X51v. Touch Screen is not working, can navigate via middle arrows button. Once in a window cannot go back.
