c launch and dynamo work fine on my axim x51 got the black screen at first with dynamo, But reistalled it and followed the directions and then it worked great.

Since Pocket Earth is on sale for half price at PocketGear, I checked here first to see if it is compatible (WM5 is not listed in their requirements). I discovered that it is on the list.

Is anyone using the program under WM5? I am finding that some things work, but some things are behaving strangely. In Help, I sometimes lose the navigation buttons and have to play around a bit before I'm able to get back in and continue reading.

Also, I have it set up to display country names and weather information, and find that a lot of the text is overlaid so that I can't read it.

Anyone else?

I had loads of problems with this app but I finally loaded a newer copy of V3.4 and it has worked OK eversince.

Right menu works and is great BUT in order to register it you need the machine code which does NOT show up where the developer says it does . He is extremly non resposive to emails I finnally got him to respond from a forum only to have him ask for a number that I could get by dialling # 60 on my phone My axim x51 is not a phone. He has not responded to that information nor my reqest for a refund. I bought the software 3 weeks ago. what a shame

WakefieldSoft System Requirements for both InfoSafe and their new Autofile says that it's WM 5 compatible. Anyone with experience out there?

Edited 1/16/2008. I guess not many people use these utilities. I've been using them now for almost a year and they work just fine.

I have to change my post about dynamo. While it was really cool when ever it did work, most of the time it didn't. And when it did it was really slow, so essentially useless. I also use an I-mac, which as some of you may know has a similar feature. Press F9 and all your open programs show up in smaller windows. This is what the developer was trying I think for but my axim it didn't always work.

As anyone managed to activate right menu? It's been almost a month and despite chancing the developer all over the various forums, He has not contacted me. what a waste of a nice launcher that had a small footprint.

I would take Cashorganizer '05 off of the list of working apps and move it to the marginally working list. It is only marginally working for me. It will sync once and then is inconsistent or fails from then on unless I delete the database and start over and then again on sync only works well. It seems to work ok (inconsistently) if it is the only syncronizing program I have loaded on the machine however but when I load up the machine with PhatNotes, Avantgo, SprintDB pro, and MobiPocket, it stops working effectively.

Update: Forget everything I just said. I found that the XP Firewall was running as well as my McAfee fire wall. I am not sure how that happened. I switched the XP Firewall off and now only McAfee is runnig. Cashorganizer '05 runs again and is syncronizing fine. Great program. Looking forward to the 07 version.

one final update to right menu in the interest of fairness. Finally got an acceptable solution from the developer. He sent me a registered version of the program. I couldn't get it to change skins though. It looked like he had updated the Pocket PC version. If you recall it worked but the activation only seemed to work under the smart phone if you wanted to activate and use it. I downloaded the new version after uninstalling and clearing my registry of any trace of the working version, I had been sent. The skins would change but as before the codes to activate it were not available.

I did manage to overwrite the skinable trial version with my full version of the executable within the program folder, hold my tongue just right, turn around three times, click my heels together and say the magic words, and I have a working registered program with 2 skins.

So unless you have a smart phone, hold out for a working trial that appears to allow you to register it, before you buy, so you don't have to do what I did and threaten to go to paypal and write negative reveiws at all the PPC software outlets and forums about the customer service. I hate doing stuff like that. I really am a nice person. really, and it's a nice simple launcher, but not worth the hassle. And there are many others out there. I just wanted one without all the bells and whistles.
