My order came with a free upgrade cd so I will eventually if all of my software will work and I don't have to wait for updates that long. I will not upgrade at first but most likely later on.

Exactly. I was set on upgrading since I get a free upgrade from Dell when it releases but now, no way. I need my Wi-Fi sync.

I won't upgrade right away. I think I'll wait for a little longer for more compatible software to come out for WM 5.0

because after i got my verizon vx6600 pdaPhone with EVDO, i rarely use the x50v anymore..

Im getting the cd regardless of whether I decide to upgrade.

Thats the one thing that bugged me when looking for a used dell X5 is that no one had the upgrade OS and dell had removed it from their site.

So I sucked it in and got a X50, later if I decide to sell it at least Ill have all the updates/upgrades

So I guess Ill decide later.

I wondered though and havent looked at any other threads for this but can the old version be saved to disk or is it on the original dell disks to revert back to if I dont like WM05.
