Step 1) wait until you have the disk

step 2) follow instructions with disc

step 3) er... um that's it. nobody has the disc yet so we can't say anything more: sorry

The last thing I heard from Dell was Oct. 3, but they're notorious for giving you a ship date and then pushing it back on that day.

Seems that the new disc should be ready for the masses if it's already being shipped in the x51's. Could be a dell business plan to make the x51's more appealing to buyers.

I called in to tech support and went on to on-line chat support, they both say the same thing. The WM5 upgrade discs will be sent out the last week in October, which probably means the 31st of October. The rep said that there was a huge demand when Dell began offering the free upgrade and that it would take some time to distribute all the copies. I take that to mean that I shouldn't get too excited until about the 10th of November.

I'm wondering, "If it ain't broken, why fix it?"

What's all the hoopla 'bout if Win Mobile 2003 is workin' great?

Are there new features in Win Mobile 2005 that'll thrill us all?

My Amix X50, bluetooth, Wi-FI, 1 GB CF, 1 GB SD, numerous programs,
are keeping pace daily.

I'd really like to know how much battery life will I get..
That's the only reason why I would upgrade

Oh, and to see if the "calendar" bug I'm experiencing get's fixed...
