Hmm WM5 + Outlook Questions

Just got my Axim X51v, first pocket PC. I've got it synced to my local outlook2003 client, which worked great (using active sync 4, i know - shame on me).

I have a few questions:

First, why can't I setup pop/smtp settings for my sync'd email account? I want to be able to pop/smtp that account when i'm out of the office. First glance seems to show that I have to setup a separate account on my axim and pop to that? please tell me i'm nuts!

Second, I can't for the life of me find a way to delete email accounts I've configured on my axim. Again, am I nuts - or was this an oversite on microsoft's part? I can add a new account, change existing accounts, but I can't remove an account.

Last, our corporate mail server (which I recently built) uses Sendmail w/ SMTP-AUTH, SaSLAuth, POP3s (dovecot). I can securely pop my mail from the axim. I cannot, however, send email from my axim (at all). same server, same logon account, same certificates. Depending on whether I check "USE SSL" it either takes 90-120sec then fails, or fails right away with "could not connect via SSL". the error i get on my sendmail server is "did not issue MAIL/EXPN/VRFY/ETRN during connection to MTA". Every other client I use works great with the secure smtp communications. Anyone else used the AXIM for ssl/smtp?

Thanks for the help!

Nope... not nuts. That's the way it is. I don't understand why it's like that, either. Ideally, I wanted a way that I could access my email from two places, and both the PC and PPC would stay in agreement on what I've read and sent. There is also no way to sync sent mail that I'm aware of.

I'd love it if someone could tell me I'm wrong, though...
