Question Switcher Bar Buggy?

Greetings Everyone-

as promised - lots of questions. This is specific to WM5. I turned on the "Switcher Bar" (start > settings > system > switcher bar). It allows you to select any running program, and also kill the current or kill all running programs. It worked great, until i pressed the power button to sleep the unit. Now, the switcher bar doesn't show any running programs, and just sits on the taskbar. All previously running programs are gone, and any new programs don't show up. I've shut the switcher down and turned it back on - no change. All running programs still show up under the memory setting, but not in teh switcher. I haven't tried a soft-reset, but don't see why I would need to.

Anyone else seen this? Solutions? Thanks!

Clarification

I might not have been 100% clear:

the switcher bar doesn't malfunction after *every* powerbutton off/on. A soft-reset does fix the problem, but not permanently. More of an annoyance i suppose.
