I doubt we'll see any upgrades from Dell on exsisting models....
but let's just cross fingers that the OS will bring something new from them. NO NO NO, this is not a hint.
This forum was created to discuss it since we are more than Just Axim these days...

new spaces huh ? anyway, both model (x50/x51) deserve for future upgrade. But X51 series might having chances compare with X50 (due different NANDrom).
I'm surprised that Microsoft went with the name WM 6.0 as I thought Crossbow was sort of a intermediate upgrade. I saw a 6 minute video on Youtube the other day with someone demonstrating crossbow on their handheld device, the video itself dragged a bit, but interesting to see all the new features.
I'll speculate that while there might not me any upgrade on existing models, Dell will likely come out with some device based on either Windows Mobile Professional or Standard. At the same time, since WM6.0 is still based on CE 5, I don't see why an O/S upgrade is not possible.
Yes, technology has come a long way. I was asked to upgrade a computer this week. 500 MHz processor and 64 MB of RAM?!? It was an Axim in a VERY large case. I said there was nothing I could do and suggested a new computer.
It would be nice to see an upgrade for the x51v (and, if possible, the x50v). These are still high level PDAs and it would be a shame to condemn them to the back of the closet.
iPAQ has a nice idea with the hx6940 and hx6945. Phone, camera, integrated GPS...all in one. I don't care much for the keyboard, however, (even though I love it on my Moto Q) because it eats up too much real estate that would be better used for the screen.
No clue, though I think I answer that already?
We really don't deserve an upgrade and have no leverage, but it would be nice.
Though from the looks of it we won't get an upgrade or a new device, a new device would give us leverage. I think the WM6 upgrade is making my x51v act up I think I need an x52v?
