Personally I'm to scared to try it, but I will hold out hope that Dell will gets its act together and not totally diss us. I still have warranty!
They did come up with an A02 for the WM5 x50v upgrade a long time after that happened, miracles happen everyday.
(I think that applies more to doctors, but we save people from computer related illness)

I've sucessfully downloaded it and tried to update my Axim (it's an X50 mid). It didn't work.The rom updater program said that the included rom image wouldn't work on my axim. I am afraid to manually flash the rom image because I don't want to screw up my axim. I guess if you really don't want to risk screwing up your axim, you have to wait until Dell releases an official update for Windows Mobile 6. In the meantime, you're stuck with Windows Mobile 5 as your latest os.
