I think they'll make a palm top the same size as the axim, and looks the same as the axim (except for a slide keybord) and runs Windows Vista Ultimate, has a 2.4 GHz processor, 4 GB RAM, 80 GB flash memory.
Alright, that won't be 2006, but that is my dream of an Axim replacement!

haha 2.4ghz processor on about 70W or something plus power for the RAM and then the GPU needed to run vista lol you would need a battery pack the size of a laptops!
I think that Dell is going to come out with a smartphone that runs WM6 and has Verizon as the exclusive network to compete with the iphone. :)
Why Verizon (or a CDMA phone at all)? If Dell follows HP's example at least, they would release a GSM competitor (as I don't believe HP has ever released a CDMA phone/PDA). Why would Dell limit their market as a hardware maker?
