I need help desperately! I have a program that needs Visual Basic Runtimes to be installed on my device. But I keep getting an error message saying: "Installation of msvbppc.armv4.cab was unsuccessful. The installation file is not intended for this device."

I have a T-Mobile Dash running WM 6.

Does anyone know how I can get the VB files to install?

If you are willing to work on the registry, there may be a work-around to getting old apps onto WM5/WM6 devices.

Omnisoft has a shoe-horn method of getting eVB onto Smartphone 2002/2003/WMv5/WMv6 devices (OMNISOFT: Developing Windows Mobile Smartphone Software Applications with Embedded Visual Basic (eVB)). Good luck!
