I am having a problem selecting anything other than keyboard as my default input option. When I select transcriber, and try and open the options button, I get the following error popup:

"Can't open the configuration dialog. Transcriber options are available only when Transcriber is selected as the active input method."

After that I make sure that transcriber is still selected and click on "ok" and navigate around. When I come back, and look at my input options, keyboard has somehow been selected.

This happens when I select anything other than keyboard. I can see the options on Letter by letter, but it also defaults back to keyboard. I do not see any "transcriber arrow" in any of my applications.

Hmm, lots of views, but no replies. I was able to get transcriber to work, but only after I installed calligrapher. It may go away again if I remove it, so I will keep both for now. Calligrapher works great BTW.

I might be wrong but I think Wisbar Advance lets you do this using their SIP, Soft Input Panel. I'm not sure if its on WA2 or WA3 but I remember reading it somewhere.

I used to be with it, but then they changed what "it" was. Now, what I'm with isn't it, and what's "it" seems weird and scary to me.

   

I am glad that you found a solution in calligrapher. I'll have to look around WA 2 and see if I can find anything out.
