At first it just said "sync settings for this device cannot be saved" when I tried to rename the unknown device to T-Mobile Shadow. And it just did not sync. When I clicked on Help button, it took me to Microsoft site and said "sorry there could be too many reasons". Anyhow, right now when I hook it up via USB the device won't show up under WMP at all.
I am using Vista Home Premium with WMP 11.0.6, and I cannot sync my playlists to the storage device on Shadow.

Yes, Windows Mobile Device center shows up and I can browse the phone and MiniSD via explorer.

Update: For now, I am just syncing directly via MicroSD adapter with memory stick port on the computer.

        

go into your device manager and uninstall the device. then resync and see if it takes. also try renaming the device on the device to see if it makes a difference

Thanks. I will try that, for now, just syncing to SD directly.
For some reason, after sync, the cover art did not get synced over..

I just wish the new WMP could get listen by Folder next to album, artist, genre, etc.. It is very inconvenient not having listen by Folder.
