All installations = unsuccessful, why?

Hello. For some weird reason, all of the applications I try to install to my HP iPaq 510 VM running WM6 turn unsuccessful. Tried with all WM6 compatible software, and still, same result.

Started with Skype, I got the newest mobile version, started installing, it asked me to where (card or internal) I chose, it waited, no progress and then BAM, unsuccessful. I tried that several times, same result, but faster, doesent even ask to where install, just fails. And yesterday I tried Spb Mobile Shell, compatible with WM6, (even tho it might have not been compatible with non -touch screens, I still wanted to try) and same things. Tried pocket RAR, same things, and it goes on and on, failing my installations.

The IPAQ 510 is a smartphone (not a pocket pc - no touch screen). Pocket PC applications are not designed for Smartphones and so most of them won't work on a smartphone. You need to seek out the smartphone version of software to install. Here's a good list to get you started:

Last time I checked, the Skype software won't work on the 510 because of it's non standard screen size. But you could use Fring instead to act as your Skype client....

fring: Make free mobile calls, IM with Skype, MSN Messenger, ICQ, Google Talk™, SIP & Twitter, AIM® & Yahoo!™

I can confirm that Skype will not work on the HP iPAQ 510.
