MS Voice Command Compatible GPS Software
Anyone know of any WM6.1 GPS software that is compatible with MS Voice Command and/or has it's own voice command capability.
I'm enjoying using my old copy of Mapopolis on my Samsung I-760; however, it would be nice if I could control the Mapopolis menus from my BT earpieced. Voice Command let's me start Mapopolis using the "Start Mapopolis" command; which is nice. This starts the app and the GPS starts since mapopolis set to enable the GPS on startup. However, I'd like to take it to the next level if possible and use voice command to set a location. Besides, the Mapopolis software is obsolete and I suppose there are better software apps now available. Any input is appreciated...

The Navigon applications are also nice; however, they are bundled units, not ppc software. And while Live Search does support voice commander; as noted: it does not provide voice directions like Mapopolis does. Also, the voice command does not work through my BT earpiece. Like Mapopolis, I can start Live Search via BT earpiece; however once started, voice commands are only recognized by the phone mic only. Maybe some enterprising individual will come up with a voice activated/controlled windows mobile GPS application in the future. Seems like it would be a popular "hands free" utility.

I haven't used it for a while, I tend to use tomtom on my advantage now.
The voice recognition is pretty basic from memory, you record your own voice tags, it doesn't do fancy stuff like understanding an address. The PDA version is what you need. Start here NAVIGON AG - Products - Car Navigation Hope that helps, sorry, i'm ultra mobile just now so that's the best I can do for you at the moment.

I don't see a PDA version for the US on their site, just for the UK. So, I am in the same boat as the original poster. I have an AT&T Tilt with built in GPS, so all I need is software to control it (so I don't have to shell out 10 bucks a month for telenav).
