Here is an interesting read from a
Microsoft-focused blog which I came across on Brighthand that provides a preview of what could possibly be Windows Mobile 7. The new mobile OS will be highly touch, finger and motion gesture oriented and de-emphasizes the use of a stylus and also allows for better one-hand operation. On the surface (no pun intended), the rumored Windows mobile 7 seems like a pocket-sized version of Microsoft Surface demonstrated last year. This appears to be Microsoft's answer to the iPhone but alas its reported that we won't see this new mobile OS until 2009.
