I am interested in a handheld pocket pc device that can surf the web and download music directly into the handheld (instead of connecting the handheld via usb wire to desktop) from itunes, napster, etc, and also stream internet radio!
1. If a cell phone has built in wifi capabilities, does it have the online browsing through explorer as pocket pc or pda would?
There are a couple programs for phones (gloonet and tunesonthefly) for accessing downloaded music through a phone.
Anyone use/know more about these?
2. Can a phone/pda install/download legal music sites (napster, itunes) and buy music?
Does the pda/phone need to using a certain OS?
3. Could the pda/phone with wifi be able to connect online with a router/ap connected with modem on a wired desktop pc, and be able to download directly into the phone?
Thank you,
Kimmi
