I have a spare battery.
If I change it out every few days, is it ok to let it sit in the charger fully charged?
Will that shorten the life?
What is the best way to handle a spare battery, replace daily, weekly, etc?
Thanks

I also have a spare battery. Dell has told me that leaving it in the charger will not shorten its life. I found that to not be true with other devices. If a battery is just sitting there it will loose some charge (very little) and the cradle will recharge that little bit. This constant charging is what can shorten its life. I have found using a battery a week works well and once the spare is charge, I take it out of the cradle. I have had my batteries for over a year and they last just as long as the day it came in the mail. It is also good to let a battery go entirely dead every once in a while and then to charge it up full. Hope this helps!
The circuitry of a L-ion battey allows it to sit in a charger all day w/out any negative effects (memory problems associated w/ NiCad). Draining it down all the way and recharging doesn't harm the battery either. Swapping batteries isn't a bad idea, just not necessary. I've had one L-ion battry in my cell for over 2 years, no problem.
