Me is back! And I got a DASH!
Whoopsy... Long time no post.

Anyway, got me a new toy to play for the weekend.

T-Mobile Dash! Pictures just doesn't cut it. I can't believe how pretty this little thing is in person. It's very snappy too! I'll pick this over the Q any day.

First impression is: Awesome.

Here's a couple of shots (more photo's at Just Another Mobile Monday)

BTW - I'll be selling my couple month old Eten M600+ (seen here) for $350.00 OBO if anyone is interested please PM me.

Didn't you have a different phone? I think it was a ppc 6700. You are the king of gadgets and I bow down to you in defference! Very cool. Is it a smartphone?

The dash
http://www.engadget.com/2006/10/11/t...e-dash-review/

We know what you're burning to ask, though: how does it stack up against the Q? Well, when it comes down to it they're actually two very different devices. Radios excepted, we find the Dash preferable; though it's only got a 200MHz OMAP processor compared to the Q's 312MHz XScale, but it comes equipped with an additional 64MB flash memory. The Dash only has a 960mAh battery compared to the Q's 1130mAh power pack, but under normal usage the Dash held up quite well. So those specs are kind of tit for tat, but the Dash is just so much less utilitarian looking and clunky feeling. It's the slim Smartphone perfected. No, what's really at hand here is your data usage. Do you need 3G, or are you content with Tmo's $30 per month EDGE and WiFi bundle? Both phones are priced at parity, so your buying decision is more likely to come down to data, and less likely to depend upon flash memory or a millimeter of thickness.

Hey Ecks, nice to hear from you again!

Yeah, at first I thought that I would really miss the touch-screen capabilites, but to be honest, I hardly missed it. Plus, you gotta admit, this thing looks so damn sexy!!!

In fact, I like it because I can do stuff with one hand (no need for stylus).

If you can get the DASH, I would highly recommend it.

Sweet toy! It makes my LG digital phone (its color, but no pics or movies) seem obsolete
