Hold on
Pocket PC-cells phone are great toys and have lots of potential. But make no mistake, a time-saving device they are not. Just the opposite.
I use a HP iPAC 6515. When the subscription expires, I will scrap it and return to the Palm. The reason is simple. The iPAC requires you to be become one with the device. Resets, upgrades, issues with activesync, etc. It winds up being a time sink that complicates life more than it simplifies.
Sure the email on the road is nice. But it's not essential. Neither is surfing the web while sitting in a bar or restaurant. I like the mobile outlook. All the contacts are there (hundreds of them in my case). I can look up a name and call just by pushing buttons. But then activesync upgrades and won't sync until you hard bood the device again .. and again ... and again. It's just not worth it.
For business sue, I was better off with the palm pilot. Unlike the iPAC, it was trouble free.
