Treo 700 ActiveSync and missing contacts

I was able to get ActiveSync 4.2 to sync my ACT! v6.0 contacts to my Treo 700wx and the contacts showed synchronized in ActiveSync, but were missing on the Treo. I have seen similar posts, any suggestions?

Oftentimes the problem is simply that the contacts are filtered on the pda and, if you don't assign categories to your contacts, they don't appear when the application is opened.

To check, simply open Contacts and set the drop-down (top left-hand side of the screen) to All Contacts.

I checked that first thing, all contacts is checked.

Ok, on AS on your pc, make sure that you are syncing all contacts.

Tools
Select Options
Select Contacts (the option should already be ticked)
Click the Settings radio button
Select the Synchronise all Contacts option
