Web prompts for WM5

Hi guys,

I have heard it is possible to create a link from a web page to automatically prompt things to happen on Window Mobile 5. For example:

1) When a user clicks on a phone number, the phone application is launched and dials the number automatically

2) When an Postcode is clicked, the integrated Satellite navigation (Tom Tom in my case) is launched and configured to navigate to this address.

Can anyone let me know?

Wow, second one is a tough one, but first one is done all the time on sites like google & msn live. You might one get a WM5 emulator, or a browser that identifies itself as Smartphone or PIE, then use that to check those sites, and grab the sourcecode to see what's the prompt that brings up "Call xxxx?" screen.

Thanks for the reply. Actually have a WM5 device here and did try this. You can copy and paste numbers from Google but not automatically connect. Windows Live doesn't seem to work on my WM internet explorer :-) . Would be good to have the Sat-nav link aswell!

For sat-link, I think you can contact individual software companies, maybe drop a line to Mapopolis and see what they think of that idea?
