Need help - ROM memory being taken up by files that should be on memory card instead
I've noticed that even though I'm installing a lot of my software to my memory card, files associated with them still get installed to the Windows folder for some reason [I found this out using SKTools] and I was wondering if I moved said files from the Windows folder in the internal memory to the Windows folder in the memory card, would the programs concerned still work?

I ask this as I'm seriously running out of internal memory and I need at least 4MB to install a Japanese font for some study software...

I posted a similar question on this issue but still didn't get a proper answer. I have the same problem but I realized that when you start to free-up some memory the Ghost program(so I called them) that lack link association come back with their image icon. For example when you go to memory setting and you terminate program loaded on internal memory, you get most of your ghost programs back. You can try also a soft reset, that free-up some memory.I notice that I have 30 meg of free storage memory that is not use at all because I installed 99% of my applications to the SD card.I wonder if its possible to transform that 30 meg of storage space to internal memory so applications can use it.But that's another question waiting for an answer. If I was you I would look if there is no program that cache data to the internal memory. If so, delete the data left-over and trick the setting of the application so it store its cache data to the SD card.I already know that PPC explorer and Opera browser cache browsing data on the internal memory, thus limiting memory space for applications.
