what is the next device after the Tilt

I have an 8525 and am nearing my device replacement cycle and was wondering if there had been any news about the next HTC PPC phone device.

I can get a refurb tilt for 150 direct from AT&T but thought if a NEW device was coming out in the next few months, it might be more prudent to wait and get that one for my contract renewal.

any hints as to what the new one will be?

Not in the next few months but the Sony Ericsson Xperia X1 is scheduled to come out in September. Rumors are it will be coming to AT&T.

I don't see the xPeria as the next 8xxx series though. Maybe AT&T will discontinue the 8xxx seeries all together. I don't think there is a new TyTN device from HTC anytime soon. And if they release the drivers this week as speculated, the TyTN II will be launched right to the top again as it originally was thought to be. Definetly an iPhone killer after I played with one yesterday for the first time.

From what I've gleaned off of several related sites, he new HTC Diamond isn't available in the states 'til mid '09

Not too patient... I suppose I'll just buy a refurb or used Tilt somewhere and save the renewed contract upgrade for the "latest and greatest" whenever that happens.

Just wanted to say Rad that I was thinking the same as my contract is up in a few days, I too think the tilt is the best choice, but still have a few more days to decide.
