Axim x?0 smartphone?

i'd love for the one on the right to be a new smartphone from dell...it already looks like a close relative to the x50 series!

Well they do come from HTC who make the X50 series....

So if Dell wanted something like that all they have to do is sign on the dotted line

Unless Q-tek already signed the dotted line that HTC wouldn't be able to sell a similar design to another company. Although, I'm sure HTC could make enough changes tot he design to get around any contracts.

Regardless, Dell's already been quoted saying that they have no plans to enter the phone market.

well yes.. I don`t think Dell would market that specific phone. But the moment they decide they want to be in the market, they can get the bods at HTC to make them a dell phone very quickly.

Actually Qtek `share` a lot of products with imate, Tmobile and the rest of the smartphone gang. Normally the main difference is in the Rom build, support and bundled software (says the man who bought from Tmobile and hasn`t got the rom update and has precious little support

)

So I`m assuming that Dell would want something a lot more exclusive

ya o2 is antother company who getting the phones or pda from HTC.
if i sign the dotted lines with HTC then next time maybe in the market got a smart phone call Batugajah.
