Well, the wife just bought herself a Blackberry Pearl (it's a "cute" phone, she says), and I"m really liking the "convergedness" she has now with it. Translation: I'm wanting a smartphone myself, now!
I get my upgrade w/ ATT in January, and I"m trying to do my homework on their smartphones. So far, I like the Blackberry Curve and 8525 the best (even though I'll have to luck out w/ a refurb on the 8525 now). Does anyone have any suggestions on which phones to look closer at or stay away from? Any and all help appreciated.

Ah. I can understand that problem. In that case, the refurb 8525 looks really nice. I know several people who have been very happy with the 8525.

I love my 8525 and you should be able to get a refurbed one for $200 or less

Don't updrade trough AT@T, got to Amazon instead.
You will be able to upgrade (with 2 Year contract - but that's the same as with AT@T) after 22 month (or 10 month) and you can get Tilt (new) for $175

I forgot about that one!

I'd really rather stay w/ a WM smartphone vs. a Blackberry, so I guess I'll keep that one in mind, too. But there is the MOTO Q, too. That one has WM6. :drool:
