I have an X3 that is plaged with the malady of locking up, and when I do a hard or soft reboot it stays at the align screen and does not cycle to the next screens. So I have to reboot it many times until it finally passes the align screen. It has happened ever since I first bought it several years ago.
Other than that is peforms wonderful.
Does any one think this is an os bug and must reinstall? and if so where do I find the os for the ROM?

Welcome to Aximsite, Manuel!

There is no such thing as an OS reinstall on a Pocket PC device. A hard reset brings it back to factory state with a clean OS.

Do you have a screen protector installed? If so, try removing it to see if it helps.

Are you still having issues with the screen locking ? Have you been able to resolve it.
