Nice to be a new member of this massive community. . I have a bit of a mad question to ask. I own a Dell Axim X3 Standard, i.e. it doesnt have WiFi or bluetooth.

I've noticed there are a few axims on ebay for spares and repairs and heres my mad idea. Is it possible to buy a X3i broken and have the Wifi/Bluetooth chip out of it and put it in my X3 Standard if i dismantle it? I know you can get these SDIO cards but i just wondered if this is possible becase i occasionally see bits going really cheap.

I don't think it would be possible. Getting it connected would be fairly easy, if the x3 has the same internal socket as the x30, but the software would be much harder to get working.

I notice in my settings i have 'Wireless ethernet' option but obviously theres no chip in the X3 standard.
