X3i doesn't react to input -- sometimes
My X3i with Microsoft Pocket PC Version 4.20.0 (Build 13349) and a 256 MB SD card worked fine for 2 years and now it freezes sometimes.
But actually, it only doesn't allow input from the outside (stylus, keys). It is still operational and does even sync through the craddle in this situation. But, there is no way I can awaken it to user input of any kind--except via the soft rest. Sometimes the soft reset works only until I enter half of my password. Sometimes its fine for 3 min, sometimes its fine for 3 hours. I have not figured any dependencies in use (wireless on or off, certain programs, etc.)

Any idea or suggestion?
Thanks!

wow
This problem is almost identical to my own. My Axim x3i worked perfectly outside of a few "MS Outlook deletes all my contacts and screws up all the contact categories" problems, until recently.

Powers on perfectly fine, but 90% of the time, the digitizer will not function even though the display and buttons register fine. Once on, I press the soft reset button and all is well until I turn the unit off and on again. At which point I must press the soft reset again.

Does anybody have any ideas, or similar problems? If so, please respond to this post and maybe we can make a diagnosis
