Corrupted OS Image???
I've recently had to resurrect an Axim 3Xi from storage and it appears that it either has a corrupted OS or there are simply physical hardware issues with it... Does anyone know how to reload an original OS image on it? I've downloaded and tried the available OS updates (both A00 and A01) from Dell's site and when trying to update the ROM, it tells me the unit does not require this update and is already current. I was able to make a backup of the existing image, but it seems to have problems. For example, I cannot access any of the Settings items; they simply don't show up. In fact, none of the tabs under Settings have any icons. It also never sees a fully charged battery and perpetually displays the extremely low battery warning. When clicking on OK, it does a soft-reset.

Anyway, if someone can point me towards how to force it to load an image even if it thinks it doesn't need it, I'd be most grateful. If that fails, then I'll be fairly certain it's just a hardware thing.

Thanks! -Jesse
