The inside part of my Axim where it gets plugged in to charge it no longer works. Can I get this repaired or do I have to buy a new one?

I believe Pocket PC Techs (http://www.gethightech.com) sells this part. You can also send it in for servicing.

I just encountered this same problem. I think I need to buy a new iPAQ. I am now using my old iPAQ 3975. Dell may have good prices, but the quality is not good and the servicibility for Dell products is atrocious.

Dear all,

I've the same problem as you guys. My backup battery was not charged and toasted. I'd got message about battery adnormal and failed, my data will be loss when remove my main battery. So I replace another backup battery and it was charged this morning,
I have my Dell Axim x3i back to work in normal now. I have never get any adnormal and failed message again.
