You might have been better off keeping this question in your original thread so people would have a 'history' of the problem. In any case, a failure to obtain an IP address is usually because of a router setting (not a PPC setting). Are you running any security on the router? If you are running WEP, did you enter the key in hexidecimal format? If you have MAC filtering enabled on the router, did you enter the adapter's MAC address correctly (especially pay attention to zeros and 'ohs' and ones and L's)? If the router is an 802.11g, is it set to mixed mode or b-only? Have you disabled any 'enhanced G' feature? You might also check for an upgrade of the router's firmware from the manufacturer's web site.

I checked router settings and there is nothing you mentioned set on.
If Axim is in cradell it connects to internet no proble.Take it out it shows connected but cannot surf the net and shows no ip address.

Connection through the cradle has nothing to do with wireless. I'm probably not going to be able to help much with your troubleshooting because I'm working from my PPC but check the WiFi Guide linked from my signature, in particular, the section on WM03 and troubleshooting.

One thing I can suggest is that you try resetting the router (there is probably a button on the back that you'll need to depress with a paper clip for 5 to 10 seconds) and then set it up again with a new SSID.
