Recently my AX showed up with colored lines on the right of the screen with blank on the left. It is completely dead for writing, changing to any program..calendar, etc. I have done a soft reset w/o success. I would like my expense account saved if possible. Does anyone have any idea as to what to do to restore my AX3?

Sounds like you have a bad screen, or at minimum a bad connection inside the device. Have you tried the good health smack on the side method?

I have heard this called the mexican blanket of death. It is a dead screen. You will need to replace it. My solution has been to buy a cheep used Axim X3 or X30 low with a good screen off of e-bay (I have replaced three screens, one with the mexican blanket of death). It is cheaper than buying a new screen and you get all the other extras (charger, battery etc.)

happened to mine, except the lines were horizontal...it started one day after i DROPPED it, haha, well the lines went away after something like 3 days...good luck with yours, i can't guarantee the same fate
