Problem with USB synch/charge cable
I recently bought a USB synch/charge cable from Mobile Driven. On my computer at work and at home, the cable registers powerwise. However, at work, my Axim x3i is not detected. At home, the device shows as an unknown device. I have tried reinstalling the USB driver at home with no success. I can synch using the Dell cradle unit at work. Any suggestions?

Power capacities of cables vary. Some will sync and charge, some will only convey current. My guess is that the axim draws too much current and cannot be used with that cable.

Well, looking at Device Manager, under the USB Root Hub info, power available looks good. I'm thinking that perhaps the data pins might be reversed in the connector itself.
