I don't know if this is a common problem or not but the screen works visually, but doesn't detect any tapping. I turn on the x3 and it asks me to touch the screen to align it but it won't detect it. I tried going into diagnostics (Reset, scroll, contacts) and it gets up to the point where it asks if I hear sound. I can't hit hit "yes." Is there any fix to it or is it dead?

Do you have a screen protector? If so you may have it under the case of your unit that will cause the problem. Try re setting you screen protector.
