I have an x3i with broken & bent pins. In the meantime, I need to synch my work calnedar/inbox. Using wifi, I can synch files and notes. I get a message that basically says I need to connect the PDA thru my USB/cradle in order to synch the rest of it or to change settings so I can synch via wifi. Is there a way around that since obviously I can't use my cradle or USB cable except to charge with.

You can only sync by WiFi if you have a online sync server. I don't know much about how to do that. You can't sync to your own computer using WiFi because WiFi is primarily used for internet. However, you can sync using Bluetooth (which is a another set of annoyances). If this is what you are talking about, you need to change some settings.
