X3i could not be power up
I just dropped my X3i today, and then could not turn the power back on. Even I put the unit on the cradle, there is only recharging but no connecting to PC indication. The PDA was in a leather case when it was dropped, and I could not find any visible crack on the unit, and could not hear any noise when I shaked it. I tried to take the unit apart, but looks like its cover is very difficult to be taken off. need an expert to tell me if there is any way to find out which part is wrong.
Thank you in advance.

Its not difficult to take apart. Screws are under the little rubber boots. I don't know how hardware savvy you are, but I'd suggest looking into getting a replacement from dell or getting some sort of checkup from ppctechs or something to that effect.

Welcome to aximsite.

Hi, look at karmann57 post. He had the same problem. It looks like screen itself is very sensitive and crack inside or shock can cause a sort of short circut causing issues. I sugest buying new LCD plus digitizer. Replacement isn't difficult and there is plenty of documentation for this availabel around. Just ask Google
