Connector damage
My X3 docking connector pins are bent - I dont know when it happened - probably when I was trying to plug in a wired-gps in the dark (doh) and it didn't work first time, my repeated attempts probably made it worse

I may have a goe with a maginfying glass, a bright light and a jewellers screwdriver (tiny) and re-bend the pins back, but expect to lost at least one

Any experiences with this problem anyone ?

Dave

If you are not able to fix the pins, you can send it for repair here http://www.pocketpctechs.com/main.as...it-0&area=home. Good luck!

I've bent mine back but then you have to do it more and more often until they eventually break totally off. I got a new connector and had somebody at work replace it. Works great now. Unfortunately I thought I was getting a pc board connector, but it's just the oem one, which will break again some time. I'm just trying to be careful with it. Bottom line is you'll have to replace it eventually.
