I believe I fried the memory
I have axim x3. I tried to do a backup from the handheld and did not have it plugged into the cradle. A message appeared advising me to do so and I did. However the machine had began the process. Needless to say it looked like it attempted to sync and the back up froze and never came back. I left the machine overnight to give it time to recover. When the machine came around it runs extremely slow and the screen freezes like it major memory problems with carrying out commands. I tried soft and hard resets but no luck long boot ups and long excessive time periods between screen changes if at all. How can I get the machine back to the smooth fast running state. It appears I fried or damaged the memory. By the way I cant sync either. When running fine my partnership was wm_tobywillingham. Now the machine reads Pocket PC and fails to syn although I can add and remove programs and it is connected. After about 15-20 of syncing it does not transfer my outlook stuff. It seems that my handheld starts over everytime it attempts to syn at this point. Please help.

The memory bar is sitting in the middle. I dont have the machine with me I dare not deal it all day because Im almost at the point where I want to throw it from the 40th floor of my office building. Again when I recall looking at that screen the bar is in the middle if you know where I am trying to get you to visualize. Is there anyway to correct the syncing problem and the handheld freezing up. Although it is on I cant move from program or function or function with a delay and sometimes just completely gets stuck. What is BIS Why does the backup function on the handheld do that. I had previously backed up my data with Active Sync program and restored it to my handheld but that did no good.
