I just got a 2GB SD card for my X30 and today the files on it just disappeared.

A soft reset fixed it but I would like to know what is the cause of that problem. Has that happened to anyone else?

My SD card also said that it was half full when I first formatted it from my PC although it was empty.

Should I format it within the PPC?

I'm not sure if the x30H supports 2gb sd cards. It should, but that may be the problem.

I use a Sandisk 2 GB SD card and it works flawlessly.

Are you using an generic\no-name card? I have found those to be unreliable.

It's a Patriot card.
I formatted the card from the PDA and now it displays the correct capacity.

Hopefully it won't happen again.
