Worried Synchronization interupts

Okay I was syncing and charging just fine until a few weeks ago. My X3 just starts to sync now but then stops as if I pulled out the USB connect. Error message says Synchronization cannot be completed successfully. Reconnect and try again. I did try, unloaded ActiveSync program, and reinstalled it. Also bought a hotsync USB cord...same thing happens. Soft reset doesn't fix it either. My cradle charges it okay. Other USB devices work fine (MP3 Player). Any other ideas?

I also suffer this same issue on my x51v. I do a "detect and repair" in outlook, soft reset the ax, then all is good again.

When I was having problems synching with my x3, trying everything, I ended up doing a hard reset and then it would sync. Suggest you do a backup before, though. Good luck.
