Cradle not connecting
All of the sudden my axim X30 has started acting up when I place it on the cradle. When I place it on the cradle, Windows gives me the 'boom-bing!' of a new USB connection, but activesync does not light up on my taskbar. Then after a few seconds I get the 'bing-boom' of the disconnecting USB connection...and then it keeps cycling like this.
It happened once this past week and I just replaced the device and it was fine. Now it happens constantly.
It's not the USB port because I've used many other devices in it since the problem started. I performed a soft reset and then a hard reset on the axim to no avail. I reinstalled activesync and still had problems...when I manually search for a connection it found it. Replacing the axim again, it once again failed.
Has this happened to other people? Is this a cradle problem or something to do with the interface between the cradle and the PDA?
