I have an Axim3. It has Microsoft Media Player 9. I'm asking: 1. Is this in ROM and is that why I can't change it to Media Player 10? Or 2. Is there a way to upgrade from Media Player 9 to a newer, more capable version? Thanks to anyone for your assistance.

The media player is in the rom, and cant be upgraded. If only it was like that on my pc, then i wouldnt have wmp barking at me to update to wmp11.

There is always tcpmp is u were thinking that wmp is lacking functions.
