X3 backup battery message
Is the backup battery replaceable? And how do I get to it? I keep getting message that the backup battery is dangerously low.

Just be really careful. There are some little plastic clips the hold the ribbon cables in place. They are not hard to break. Don't ask :-(

I can see that you're an old timer here, Gabinflag - but you haven't been posting for some years.
So, let me guess that your X3i hasn't been used very regularly.
It took my X3i a while for the bu-battery to regenerate - about 10 - 15 times normal recharching.

Be patient a while before you try to operate the patient - no pun intended
