OS upgrade

I have a x3i, WM2003 can the OS be upgraded?

No, and you don't want to. WM2003 is solid-as-a-rock. Leave it alone. If you want a later version of the O/S buy another device. Otherwise enjoy your device as-is; run it into the ground.

The reason if for SDHC support[4GB Card only] in the newer OS but that's it.

I wonder why Dell doesn't act on this SDHC issue.Perhaps they don't want to spend money again on this old architecture.They would have to hire again the same engineer team from China to developed new drivers for X30.There is not enough Axim x30 users on the planet for Dell or Microsoft to developed new OS or driver upgrade.
But who knows?Perhaps with time, one Dell developer will read forum like this one and decide to do something.If wouldn't mind to spend another $100 bock for a mobile 2003 to 2006 upgrade for Axim x30 if they develop one.If many Axim x30 users don't mind, they would probably develop one.
