bluetooth questions.

(I posted this in the Newbie section, but there were no takers)

bluetooth questions.
I downloaded my first MP3 files on my Axim 3i, and love it. Then I went to connect my bluetooth from my phone to listen, but the instructions and the help file both say that I should have an icon for "bluetooth" by going to settings, connections ---- but I don't. Have any suggestions?

Also, I don't understand the problem with using a bluetooth as a modem. Verizon says that you have to pay $49.95 per month to do that. I want to be able to connect my PPC occassionally when I'm out and about. I thought tapping my cell phone line sounded good. What is the cheapest way to do that, if you are not going to use it much? Thanks.

I just had a quick look at an old review of the x3i.
One thing it said in it's Cons section is that it doesn't have Bluetooth.
That might be your problem.
I have no experience at all with that model so can't help any further.
Same for the U.S. phone system.

Edit: If you go Start/settings/system/device information
this should give you a page showing the set up for your device.
If it shows Wifi but doesn't mention Bluetooth, then you don't have BT.
The route to the device information may be different to what I have written above, but it should be something like that.

My manual says that I have bluetooth, and the help file tells me how to access it. When I talked to Dell to set up my wireless router, they mentioned that I had it too. But I just checked the PDAtoday review to make sure. It should be there somewhere. Thanks for trying.

Hmmm. Just found a couple of reviews that said that early ones did not have bluetooth. I guess I have to call Dell.
